All Radilum alabaster is sourced from Spain β specifically the AragΓ³n region, which has supplied the world's most prized translucent alabaster since the 16th century. Spanish alabaster is valued for its fine even grain and superior light-transmission properties. Each sphere is hand-carved from a solid block.
Which configuration suits my space? +
The Small (β 10 cm) suits bedside walls and narrow hallways. The Medium (β 12 cm) is the most versatile β dining tables, kitchen counters, bathroom vanity flanking. The Large (β 15 cm) anchors larger dining rooms as a single statement pendant. The 3-Light Cluster shares one canopy and 150 cm drop, scaled for over-island or long dining-table installations.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No β every sphere is hand-carved from natural stone, so veining, color intensity, and grain direction vary between pieces. Yours will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb per sphere (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in decorative fixtures and widely available. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best glow through the alabaster β higher wattages can over-illuminate and flatten the veining.
Can the cord length be adjusted? +
Each cord is 59" (150 cm) and can be shortened during installation. For longer drops β vaulted ceilings, double-height foyers, stairwells β please contact us before ordering for a custom length.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes β well-suited to bathroom ceilings, particularly above a vanity. Because alabaster is naturally porous, install it away from direct shower spray or steam concentration. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a concern.
